Religion!
Not dominated by a specific religion which gave way to religious freedom for Baptists, Anglicans and others. Many different religions practiced in colonial Georgia. It eventually became a melting pot of different beliefs. The only religion. Today, Georgia is a Bible Belt state, where it is not unusual to see public prayer and symbols of different faiths in business. This steams from the fact that religion played a huge role in the lives of the early colonists and that Georgia was a very religiously tolerant state.
