The Georgia Colony
The Georgia Colony was one of the original 13 colonies. It is located on the Atlantic coast of North America. The original 13 colonies were separated into three areas consisting of the New England, Middle and Southern colonies. The Georgia Colony was named as one of the Southern Colonies. Georgia was an English colony in North America that existed from 1732 until 1776, when it joined the other 12 of the 13 colonies in rebellion against Great Britain and became the U.S. state of Georgia.
Fun Fact: Georgia is not only the peach state, most people refer to it as the "peach state" ,but it is also a huge production of peanuts and pecans.
